Our wide-ranging project scope included full website buildout, logo design, marketing collateral curation, digital creative direction and turnkey photo/ video production. The result was a refreshed and modernized digital identity for the academy that has renewed interest in key demographics and expanded the customer base, resulting in increased revenue.
Website
Our objective for this web design project was to create a responsive and modernized website that would act as the focal point for the academy’s renewed online presence. Utilizing rich imagery and video, our roster of creatives closely collaborated with our web development team to create a website that enhanced user experience for visitors while effectively marketing the available powerboat courses. The result was a refreshed and impactful website that captured the interest of target customers, resulting in an increase in course enrollment.
Logo Design
The executive team at LAPA entrusted us with the incredibly important task of creating a timeless logo that effectively represents the academy’s themes and offerings. Our graphic design team employed classic design cues to stay true to its’ nautical roots and created a shape similar to an official stamp or seal to highlight the certified instructors and curriculum involved in the powerboat certification process. The new logo would be used across all digital and print touchpoints.

Our team provided creative direction for the brand’s look and feel that spanned across digital and print touchpoints. We designed sales brochures and mailers that would be distributed at trade shows as well as through direct mail marketing. Our digital involvement included social media consulting to curate an effective positioning and direction for the academy’s social media accounts.
Photo/Video Production
Our 360 coverage and turnkey production services provided everything needed to produce high quality and visually striking assets in photo/video formats. These would be used on the website, in social media and throughout various print collateral. The course specific videos would prove to be a great promotional tools that provide students with a more accurate representation of what they can expect from academy courses. Our end-to-end services included: storyboarding, voiceover scripting, model sourcing, videography, prop styling, wardrobe, shot list curation and final editing.
