Our ongoing relationship with the brand began when ownership and marketing executives from H2O engaged Hudson & Leonard for assistance in a 360° rebrand and relaunch. Our team of strategists and creatives worked tirelessly to breathe new life into the resort via refreshed branding, revitalized brand direction, look and feel across all physical and digital touchpoints, including a full redesign of their hotel website. The result was a more cohesive and inspiring positioning for the resort which led to increased conversions and sales. Sustainably Crafted
When tasked with breathing new life into an established brand, our team begins with a thorough analysis of the existing brand identity to craft a strategy which is translated into a roadmap of tasks that steer the brand towards the desired vision of our clients. In the case of H2O’s 360 rebrand and relaunch, we set out to design a set of brand guidelines based on the client’s desired vision of being the go-to luxury resort in Turks and Caicos for the active and environmentally conscious. In establishing these guidelines, we crafted and established the following assets:
  • Brand Book – A brand book acts as a branding bible that should be referenced to ensure a consistent vision and identity for a brand.
  • Logo Design – A redesigned logo acts as the crown jewel of a rebrand. Our creative team set out to create a logo that visually aligned better with the client’s desired outcome to encompass modern simplicity and Caribbean sustainable luxury.
  • Color Palette – Our creative team identified colors that not only have a proven track record of positively impacting a person’s mood, but also harmoniously express the active lifestyle and sustainability brand pillars of H2O.
  • Marketing Collateral – We sourced a sustainable production company to produce newly designed room keys, key sleeves, team uniforms, branded merchandise, physical signage and printed sales materials.
  • Photography/Video – We worked with vetted photographers and video production teams who specialize in hospitality marketing to create stunning digital media for use on social media, hotel websites and press opportunities.
A Comprehensive Web Experience
When spearheading the development and full redesign of the H2O website, our creative, strategy, and development teams collaborated seamlessly with the client to identify issues and problem areas within the existing website. Our goal was to create a responsive and visually striking custom-designed website with user experience in mind. The process involved a property photo shoot to capture refreshed assets to populate the website and the curation of marketing copy that tells the story of the brand while also influencing direct bookings through seamless integration with a newly optimized booking engine. The result of our project was a design forward and mobile-friendly website that offers visitors a best-in-class user experience, driving direct bookings to the property.
Hangtime Bar
Launching Hangtime Bar within the ongoing relaunch of the H2O resort was a standalone project within itself. Our team deployed many of the strategies and curation processes used in the resort relaunch to bring the bar launch to life. For this project we set out to establish the bar’s brand identity through storytelling, logo creation and menu design. Our goal was to create a logo that could stand on its own to represent the bar while also having a familial relation to the resort’s newly created logo. The result was a fun and instantly identifiable logo that would be used across all touchpoints. When designing the menus, we set out to mirror H2O’s clean aesthetics while highlighting the laid back vibe we curated for the bar through digital storytelling.
